Business Enterprise

Students study elements of Business Enterprise during their KS3 Computing lessons, the themes of Business are integrated into the lessons to give students a broad and balanced knowledge base and understanding of all three subjects we offer under the umbrella of Computing. (iMedia, Computer Science and Business Enterprise).

In KS4 students have the option of choosing to study our OCR Nationals in Enterprise & Marketing course. Our students who choose to study Business Enterprise in year 10 & 11 explore and investigate the makings of world-renowned business. They study a range of businesses, from sole traders to global PLC’s and apply the business theory they learn to their own business case project. Students develop the knowledge and skills needed to analyse data, make critical decisions, understand the influence of varying audiences and professional communication. 

Our Business Enterprise course is designed to give our students a real understanding of how a business works, and what they look out for in their workforce. Students who complete this course will have the competitive edge when it comes to applying for their future careers.
